This year's trip will be a mishmash of a number of adventures generally in the US, Europe, and bit of the East when we travel to Turkey. So far these trips include:

  • Switzerland - in Minusio with Matt's parents, enjoying the splendor, watching Rote Rosen at coffee time and playing Scrabble. Also a bit of Lugano and Zurich for variety's sake.
  • Italy - It's so close!
  • Germany - Oma's birthday! :-)
  • Ireland and Great Britain with Maman - a 2.5-week long excursion following the footsteps of Jane Austen.
  • Hungary - Budapest and around.
  • Serbia and Bulgaria - As day-stops on the train trip from Budapest to Istanbul.
  • Turkey - Istanbul and journey along the coast and central regions.
  • Georgia - To Tbilisi and beyond.
  • Azerbaijan - Baku, Sheki and the Caspian Sea.
